Alerce Expedition
Good adventure if you want to see the Alerce trees (Fitzroya cupressoides) of South America. We invite you, in a one day expedition, to get to know these magnificent trees in a land of lagoons and rivers. Experience Río Blanco, a peculiarly beautiful river inserted in the south face of the Calbuco Volcano, and all its little canyons. You will also visit Sargazo Lagoon and the seven hundred years Fitzroya Cupressoides that surround it. The Southern Andes is an amazing large extension of nature waiting to be explored. |
