This route includes three characteristic and interesting spots of this region. You will learn in an interactive way about the German colonizers, the typical tools they used, their traditional clothing and the antique devices to play music. Afterwards, you will find out how an apiculture (beekeeping) center works, the products the bees make and healing properties of apitherapy. Finally we will visit the “Sustentable Life Center”, interesting way of life based on sustainability and natural practices, where we will visit the organic farm, native forest, brewery, bakery and much more.

Highlights

1 Antonio Felmer Museum

Son of a colonist, Antonio Felmer enjoy seeing his unique lifestyle collection of articles dating back his immigrant ancestors. In his museum you will come to appreciate a beautiful arrange gallery of artifacts, photographs and machinery dating back to the firsts German settlers in Chile.

2 Apiculture Center

An interesting approach to the world of Bees, we will learn about the interesting and beautiful processes of their noble products. There is also a nice boutique shop if you want to obtain some products for your health or to please your taste buds.

3 Sustentable Life Center

A perfect balance between human life and nature is found at this self-sustaining project. Here we will visit the organic farm and green house, animals farm, brewery, bakery, and other interesting things. We will finish with a spectacular meal: clay-oven cooked pizzas and the refreshing beer from the brewery.
